2023 Annual WAA Picnic and Quick Draw

Lunch will be available through the Poor Piggy’s Food Truck. Attendees will be responsible for purchasing Food Truck “entrees” and beverages.

Side dishes and desserts will be provided by the WAA.

QUICK DRAW at The Wilmington Art Association’s Annual Picnic

This year we will sponsor a Plein Air Quick Draw. All attendees are encouraged to participate. We will assign dedicated time for this activity. Participants will be awarded.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Bring your own easel, paints, tools and supplies
• WAA will provide a canvas (9 x 12).
• Choose your own subject from the beautiful Arboretum setting or bring your own inspiration
• At 12 noon painting will begin. This will allow time for participants to grab some lunch before beginning.
• Paintings must be completed by 1:30pm for judging.
• Winners will be announced prior to the close of the picnic.
